Before starting Maxscale, Mario worked inside two very different firms on purpose: a large traditional firm and a modern, technology-driven one. He wanted to see what each did best, and where each let clients down.

Founder & Principal

Mario Almanzar

Over 10 years working in accounting and tax: at a family-owned accounting firm, in the accounting departments of a large construction company and a nonprofit, and at both traditional and modern CPA firms.

His focus is building accounting systems that hold up. He designs, connects, and strengthens the financial infrastructure behind a business, so every number has a source and a reason. That means books organized to be reviewed by an auditor, a lender, or the IRS, and, just as important, numbers an owner can actually make decisions from.

He designed the two-layer system every Maxscale client is protected by.

He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Colorado State University and has passed Part 1 of the IRS Special Enrollment Examination, the federal exam for Enrolled Agents.

Accountant

Marisol De la Cruz

Marisol earned her bachelor's degree in accounting in 2003. Before joining Maxscale, she spent 23 years in business administration and human resources, so she understands how a business runs from the inside, not just how its books look.

In her six years with Maxscale, she has handled monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, and cleanups.

Her specialty: turning messy books into numbers owners can rely on.

Bookkeeper

Mabeli Diaz

Over 10 years in accounting, including six years with Maxscale. Before joining us, Mabeli worked as an administrator and office manager, including several years at an insurance company, handling both the administrative and the accounting side of each business. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration.

She's tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and serious about quality. Like everyone at Maxscale, she's a lifelong learner, always looking for ways to bring out the best in every client's books.
